CREB® Volunteer of the Year
The CREB® Volunteer of the Year - Marilyn Jones Memorial Award was introduced in 2018. The award is presented annually to a CREB® REALTOR® who is making outstanding contributions to and whom is actively engaged in volunteer service.
Marilyn Jones had a rich CREB® history, winning the T.W.H. (Bill) Saunders Memorial Award in 1998 and becoming president of CREB® in 2005. She was a successful REALTOR® for over 42 years and was focused on helping clients from across Canada relocate to Calgary to find a home.
For many years, Marilyn held the record for most recorded volunteer hours of anyone in CREB®'s history. She was also a devoted volunteer in the community, energetically volunteering for numerous organizations including The Calgary Interfaith Food Bank, The Mustard Seed and Meals on Wheels Calgary.
