Genesis launches neighbour-friendly development in Airdrie

Now, that reach extends to Airdrie, where the award-winning land developer and residential homebuilder has recently opened three new show homes in its Bayside Pier 11 neighbourhood. Located in the burgeoning southwest community of Bayside, Pier 11 focuses on delivering homebuyers with a high-quality product uniquely designed for different lifestyles.

The Bella Vista offers three bedrooms and two-and-a-half baths over 1,963 square feet, starting from $469,000. It also comes with an option for a fourth bedroom, giving added flexibility for families.

The Ambassador, which is the largest of the three at 2,432 square feet, is a four-bedroom two-and-a-half unit starting from $530,000;

The Avalon, which measures 2,261 square feet, is Genesis' newest home model, designed with a side-positioned main entrance specifically for corner lots and starting from $510,000.

All prices include house, lot and GST.

Overall, Genesis is offering buyers a choice of seven home styles: five two-storey and two bungalow models, including walkout lots backing onto the canal.

Coderre notes all of the builder's homes, which come complete with front-attached garages, emphasize quality construction, beautiful finishes, comfort and timeless style. Standard in all three show homes are 42-inch fireplaces with mantles, nine-foot ceilings on the main floors, as well as in the basements, and pre-finished hardwood.

The spacious gourmet kitchens showcase standard features such as granite countertops and expansive islands, double stainless-steel Blanco undermount sinks with single-lever pull-down Delta faucets and designer-selected four-piece stainless-steel appliance packages.

The spa-inspired master ensuites include tiled showers and/or jetted tubs, as well as Kohler cast-iron top mount sinks, an upgraded design feature.

"We start them at a higher standard level of spec than is typical for the market, as seen in the Bella Vista, where everything is standard except for the wallpaper and window coverings," said Lisa Kaiser, Genesis project manager, interior design.

Coderre adds all of Genesis' homes are built for performance, as seen in the Blue Seal envelope sealant, an exterior application serving as a primary barrier against moisture and air leaks, applied during construction around windows and joints as an extra service and protection.

All homes also feature programmable Nest Learning Thermostats, which learn and adapt to owners' habits, as well as allowing owners to control their homes' climates remotely from their smartphones.
While each home has its own distinctive layout, look and feel, homebuyers can personalize them even further with Genesis' "Make it Your Own" options.

"You can do one-stop shopping at the sales centre," Kaiser explains. "It's choice made simple. If you see it in our homes, you can buy it. Our expert designers have pulled together all of these finishes to make sure that no matter what combination you dream of, it will look fabulous."

Pier 11 in Bayside is located in Airdrie's bustling yet tranquil southwest quadrant, mere steps from the canals and pathways, as well as Nose Creek Elementary School.

It's also a short drive to nearby amenities, including restaurants within the new Creekside Shopping Centre, as well as shopping, entertainment and recreation facilities, including CrossIron Mills Shopping Centre.
