Screamfest
One of the more fright-inducing events around the city, Screamfest lets visitors experience haunted houses, Halloween-themed games, creepy and disturbing entertainment and flat-out fear. Great Halloween Organ SpookTacular (Oct. 30)
Put on a costume and prepare yourself for some creepy bumps and bangs, not to mention a few uninvited guests at one of Calgary's most historic churches. A family-friendly show featuring live accompaniment from Knox's massive Casavant Frères pipe organ – which dates back to the church's construction in 1912 – this year's event will feature the original 1923 version of The Hunchback of Notre Dame.
