Committed to community investment – Kelly Macdonald

When Kelly Macdonald started her real estate business eight years ago, she realized that volunteering through CREB®’s Community Investment fit really well with her work.

“I like meeting new people, and in addition to my business, volunteering helps me achieve that,” said the busy mom to 16-yr-old Kyran and 10-yr-old Tianna.

Kelly has been volunteering at the Habitat for Humanity ReStore over the last five years, which fits nicely with CREB®’s partnership with Habitat for Humanity . “I want to see positive changes in housing and shelter, and I’m doing my bit by giving a helping hand to those who need it,” said the Calgary resident.

Committed to CREB®’s Community Investment, Kelly recently joined the Fundraising and Events Standing Committee. She’s been quick to bring her optimistic spirit and dedication to community investment.

“Our partnership with Habitat for Humanity is a step in the right direction that’s investing in our communities and helping people realize their dream of home ownership,” said Kelly. “I want to be part of that because everyone needs their own little sanctuary that a home can provide.”
