Okotoks' D'Arcy fosters connections with suite of amenities and breathtaking scenery
On the northern edge of Okotoks, beside the pristine D'Arcy Ranch Golf Club, a new community is taking shape. D'Arcy, a master-planned community from Anthem United, will bring together people, popular amenities and natural beauty at the doorstep of the Rocky Mountains."D'Arcy is a community based on connections," said Anthem United development manager Steve LePan. "That's how we envisioned it. Connections to the land, to the history, to the outdoors and among residents."
With so many new communities in Calgary and surrounding areas for homebuyers to choose from, D'Arcy sets itself apart with unbelievable mountain views, a north-Okotoks location that makes commuting to Calgary a breeze, and proximity to a scenic, public golf course that residents can call their own.
D'Arcy will offer something for everyone, and is designed to allow residents to put down roots and progress through all the stages of homeownership without ever leaving the neighbourhood.

"We really see it being a multi-generational community," said LePan. "The product mix includes everything from starter homes and townhomes to bungalows and estate homes on the golf course. The full gamut of product should attract people from just starting out, to growing their family, to empty nesters and retirees."
D'Arcy will eventually be home to two new schools, located on a joint school site at the centre of the community, with safe walking routes to all the surrounding homes. The community will also boast a walkable Gateway District, where D'Arcy residents and visitors from the rest of Okotoks can enjoy a variety of retail, dining and service offerings.
"There will be a grocery store, high street, restaurants and shopping opportunities for people right in walking distance, and it will be a great amenity for the town too," said LePan.
Showhomes by Morrison Homes, Pacesetter by Sterling Homes and Trico Homes are currently under construction, and two showhome parades will be opened in May. Prices for duplexes will start in the low $300,000s and prices for laned homes will start in the $370,000s.
