Connecting with our 2023 Community Grant recipients

CREB^® REALTOR^® Community Foundation awarded the 2023 Community Grants to the Inn from the Cold Society, Discovery House Family Violence Prevention Society, and Ronald McDonald House Charities Alberta.

Catherine Chow, Chair of CREB^® REALTOR^® Community Foundation, had the opportunity to present the cheque to each of the recipients and meet with the teams to learn more about the organizations.

“It was a pleasure to meet with each organization and hear how the CREB^® REALTOR^®Community Foundation and the Community Grant will support their housing and shelter projects,” Chow said. “It’s inspiring to learn about the impact these organizations have on the Calgary community.”

Each non-profit received $25,000 in grant funding to support major repairs and renovations to existing housing or shelter supply, with the goal of keeping people housed in their communities. CREB^® and the CREB^® REALTOR^® Community Foundation looks forward to seeing the updates the organizations make with the funding and how they will continue to support our communities.
