As one of Canada's fastest growing mid-sized cities, Airdrie forecasts population growth of nearly 50 per cent over the next six years, with a head count that is expected to swell from its 2018 census figure of 68,091 to almost 100,000.

CMHC's mortgage loan insurance explained
Mortgage loan insurance has become a popular way for people to buy a home when they can't come up with a 20 per cent down payment.
"I would say that 95 per cent of all first-time homebuyers require the insurance," said Calgary REALTOR® Crystal Tost. "It's expensive in Calgary.
