Calgary New Home Prices Continue to Rise
At nearly double their closest competition, new home prices in Calgary posted the highest year-overyear increase in Canada in November.
According to Statistics Canada, Calgary was the biggest contributor to a 1.4 per cent national advance in new home prices in the 12 months leading up to November, as new home prices in the city rose by 6.5 per cent.

Calgary Building Permits Up In September
Judging by the latest building permit numbers, Calgary construction workers are some of the busiest in the country.
According to Statistics Canada, Calgary contractors took out $590.2 million worth of building permits in September, placing the city third nationwide behind Toronto ($1.16 billion) and Montreal ($619.7 million) for the busiest in Canada.
